How To Write A Dirty Letter

Submitted by Ellie L on 06/24/2009
Love letters comes in all shapes and sizes, from the very innocent sharing emotions, to the more sexy and even down right dirty letters. If you are reading this guide, the chances are you are looking for some sort of spicy example that you can amend slightly and send off, but you would be missing a trick. The letter will be MUCH more sexy and almost certainly more likely to provoke the response you are looking for if the words come from you.

Here are a few suggestions to get you going (so to speak!)

1. Get in the mood a little before you right the letter, perhaps write it in bed, with some candles lit, professional writers will tell you the right frame of mind can really improve the results.

2. Write the letter by hand, never type it. The written word can be very powerful, it will help to evoke a connection between you, do not underestimate this factor.

3. Try to get your boyfriend or girlfriend pictured in your mind whilst you are writing, this will help the text flow.

4. Make sure you appeal to the senses, why not leave a kiss with lipstick marks on the letter, or leave a trace of her favorite aftershave, this will cause the body to become stimulated via the senses.

5. Look for something creative, it’s very easy to use the tried and tested stuff, but both men and woman get turned on by the thought of some unusual, imaginative and just different, appeal to this.

6. They say a picture is worth a 1000 words,  I would say probably more than that, so pop a picture in, it can be a sexy picture or just a nice regular picture, but personalize it, write a message on the picture itself.

7. Talk about experiences you have shared together these can be sexual, perhaps the first time you made love, or a place you have done so, or it could be simpler like the first kiss you shared.

8. Write about a fantasy that included your boyfriend/girlfriend, you can spice it up and make it hot and even dirty, but stop short of out and out pornographic, you want the person reading to think specifically about you.

Good luck, and don't forget writing a dirty or passionate letter is a very personal thing, and it's that personal connection that will make it hot, so don't try and copy something you find elsewhere, write it yourself.
