Any business can benefit from advertising, and there are hundreds of different advertising methods one can choose. Vehicle graphics have become a popular choice because of their affordability, cost effectiveness, and flexibility. When we think of advertising with vehicle graphics and car wraps, we typically think of landscaping companies and other tradesmen style companies, but in reality, there is no business that can’t benefit from advertising via car wraps. What if you need to advertise but you don’t own a business? What if you’re trying to make a name for yourself? You have all the same options that a business owner does with advertising. Musicians, trying to increase their fan base will need to advertise. Try a car wrap with your album logo or a picture of yourself or your band for facial recognition and ‘brand’ awareness. Be sure to include your website, social media links, fan email address and so on. Fans will also want to know where they can go to see you play, so consider listing your tour dates on your vehicle. Fans will also have access to this information if they visit your website, but eliminating that step for them will always benefit you and increase your clicks. Are you and your band playing a big show at a local fair in a few months? If you want to spread the word and advertise big for a specific event, consider vehicle graphics that advertise specifically for that event. Place the name of the event and the date in large, clear text, so viewers can clearly see that you’re playing at this upcoming event and that it’s going to be a big show. Then list your band information and of course, your website and other site links. Actors and actresses can also do their own advertising via car wraps and vehicle graphics. If you had a small part in a commercial two years ago, but have been unable to find other work since, consider a car wrap, highlighting the work you’ve already done. If you did a commercial for a local company, say, Burt’s Bees, and you’re the Burt’s Bees girl in the commercial, use a clip from the commercial (with permission of course) as the image on your vehicle graphic. List your contact information and if possible, an upcoming project or show date. If you’re playing a part in your local town play, you could announce it via your car wrap. Local models trying to make it big may also benefit from covering their car in a car wrap. Models keep portfolio books of themselves as a photo resume, so why not have a mobile resume? With any up and coming star, just as with any business, the more exposure you get in your community, among your target audience, the better, and the more likely you are to achieve your sales and professional goals.
