How to Prepare Spaghetti Squash
Sometimes pasta spaghetti cannot be good to eat especially if you have to eat it everyday. If spaghetti is your passion, then you should try some other forms of spaghetti like squash. That’s right! Spaghetti squash is so delicious and nutritious because of the vitamins and minerals found in the squash. Another thing about this kind of spaghetti is that you can lose weight because spaghetti squash is very low in calories; it is good for dieters. Here are the simple steps on how to prepare spaghetti squash;
Step 1 These are the things you will need in preparing for the food: • Marinara sauce • Green pesto sauce • Garlic bread (optional) • Dried tomatoes • Squash
Step 2 Divide the squash in half so that you can easily peel it off and scrape out the seeds. Be careful when peeling because the outer skin is quite tough.
Step 3 If the squash has been peeled and seeds taken out put it in a microwave for about 15 minutes. When finished, take it out and scrape with fork, it should come out like spaghetti. Place it is a bowl but you must keep it warm.
Step 4 You can add your favorite marinara sauce as well as topping with a spoon of pesto sauce to give more elegance and taste. You can also sprinkle on parmesan cheese and dried tomatoes. You can now enjoy the taste of your spaghetti squash.
