How to Make a Toga

Togas are often the first to be used for fancy dress parties or any occasions requiring the costume as they are cheap and can be made at home. It is also very easy to follow the steps on how to make a toga so you will not get frustrated if you try to make one for your self. The good thing about making your own toga is that you don’t have to pay much since you can get good fabric with five bucks.

These are the things you need when making your own toga;
•    Fabric about 4 yards for adults or teenagers and 3 yards for children
•    Safety pins to keep the fabric in place

Step 1
You must determine how much fabric you will use to make your toga. For most men and women, 4 yards is just enough but for children 3 will do.

Step 2
If you are a man, you simply have to wrap your waist for about 2 times and making the fabric together by simply putting safety pins. That’s the first thing to do but that’s only half way to make your toga.

Step 3
The remaining fabric will be thrown over your shoulder and make it stable by safety pins. That’s it! You will have your toga and that’s how togas for men looks.

Step 4
If you are a woman, simply fold the fabric and put it just across the back part of your neck.

Step 5
Cover the chest part with the other side of the fabric.

Step 6
Use safety pins to attach the fabric into your waist. That’s the toga for women. Now, you can enjoy with rest!
