The classic popcorn style box is iconic in many ways, but it is also practical and can be used for storing sweets, candy, small toys and other nic naks aswell as being great for serving popcorn whilst watching movies at home!
Because popcorn boxes can be made in a array of sizes they can be made to suit what your requirements. If you want to make your own popcorn boxes you will need a few basic materials:
Card, patterned as required
scissors
markers
glitter
cellophane
popcorn templates
You can download many different sizes and styles of popcorn box templates online, if you wish to use one of these, you can print the template off, and trace it on to your card. All you need to do then is cut it out and fold it in the right places. It's then over to your creativity to decorate the finished the box to your chosen style. If you cannot find a template that matches what you want, you can use a template as a guide to create your own template and design, this can of course be used over and over. One of best ways i have used homemade popcorn boxes for is to fill with candy, cake and small toys and give out as a gift to guests at childrens party, it's a great alternative to the to party bags.
