Anywhere you go there are always roaches to be found nearby, they are very common. They can live in either dirty places or the finest hotels in the city so long as there is a food source. Roaches are not so particular on the place where they live; what they are particular of is the place where they can find plenty of food and places where they can lay their eggs. They even live inside shoes, under the sink, above the ceiling or inside appliances. Roaches are dirty, so don’t let them get near your food if you don’t want to develop the kind of disease they may be carrying. Here are some guidelines on how to get rid of roaches in your house;
Step 1 Kitchens and bathrooms are the most common place where roaches love to live. so it is important to keep your kitchen and bathroom clean all the time to avoid them; do not leave the dishes unwashed in the sink at night nor leave the trash uncovered as they the most common attraction of roaches.
Step 2 You will need to clean your kitchen and bathroom every regularly to ensure there is nothing to attract roaches. Remember that roaches look for food in the places where they can smell something good for them. Having clean kitchens and bathrooms will keep them away.
Step 3 You must also store your garbage in a can which you can cover up everyday. Open the trash can if you want to dump your garbage; after which, close it so that roaches outside will not be able to enter.
Step 4 Bookshelves are also another place where roaches like to live. So you will need to clean it using a suitable antibacterial liquid to give it a good smell for humans but a bad smell for roaches. You should remember that roaches want to live in a dirty and messy place, so stay clean to stay roach free.
Step 5 You may also purchase roach traps to be able to trap them. There are available traps on the market you can choose from, both online and at your local store. There are child-friendly traps if you have children always playing the place where you will place your trap.
Step 6 If you really want to exterminate the roaches right there and then, you will need to hire a professional roach exterminator to go inside your house, look for the dwelling place of the roaches and spray poisonous chemicals ensuring no roaches are left alive.
