How To Find Out Somebody's Birthday

Submitted by Stevie on 06/15/2009
Below I have listed some suggestions, these may vary depending on which country you live in and where the person who's birthday you are trying to find out, lives:

Public records: These can be a great source of information, the local health department will have a section for this, although its worth calling before you visit. You might also find some records online. You might also be able to trace their birthday via record of their marriage, although you will need to know where and roughly when they got marries, assuming they did!

On the internet there are many sites that allow users to display their birthday, sites like Facebook, Myspace and Twitter, if the person is a member of any of these sites check them out, do a few searches and see what shows up. There are also a number of sites like Friends reunited and Classmates that you can check out of you know where the person went to school. You can also check out www.birthdatabase.com if you get lucky first time, you might find out, although more than one search involves paying a fee.

It might be worth approaching the problem from another angle and tracking their birthday down via a business profile on sites like Linkedin.com and others like it.

There are a couple of specialist search engines aimed at tracking down people, Pipl.com is one such site, it will probably find most social networking memberships also. There are also a number of other searches you could do, perhaps searching for known nicknames might bear some fruit.

If you still have no luck, start thinking outside the box, might this person appear in an armed forces database, or perhaps a prison records search. If you are still struggling having tried all of the above, it might be worth applying the search to relatives who would be able to tell you the persons birthday first hand, the final option available maybe to use a private investigator.
