How To Exercise At Any Physical Level.

Exercise is important and should be a daily routine for everyone. But not everyone believes they can due to injuries, age, or just
that their physical level isn’t what it used to be. There are two forms of excersie though that are believed to be for EVERYONE; Pilates & Gyrotonic.


Pilates classes and privates have become popular and especially Reformer and Tower & Mat classes. Both of these uses specially designed equipment to improve flexibility and strength, while heightening awareness of muscle function and control. Pilates is an effective form of exercise and rehabilitation that improves concentration, refines posture and lengthens muscle.

Gyrotonic is not as well known as Pilates but has the same or even more positive effect on the body. Gyrotonic is a revolutionary system involving muscular movements that mobilize and articulate the spine and joints. The exercises rely on circular motion to simultaneously stretch and strengthen the body, thereby improving range of motion and coordination. Gyrotonic also uses synchronized breathing performed in a rhythmic expression to allow for a gentle or vigorous aerobic workout based upon personal goals.
