Choosing a speaker bureau can be difficult as there are probably a lot to choose from in your area. Here are some things to consider while you are looking:

- what types of speaker do they hire? - do you require a business speaker? motivational speaker? economist, futurist, politician? check out their listings and see what they can offer you.

- are they an international bureau? - this means that they have access to speakers from all over the world, giving you greater choice and relevancy to your event.

- do they provide event management? - will they also management your event for you, or help you along the way? 

- do they provide post-event services? - this may include videos, DVDs, leaflets, training sessions or workshops. This would be of great benefit to your staff as not only would they attend a great event with a quality speaker, but they would also recieve related training sessions and help after the event. This helps them remember what has been said and they are more likely to take the speakers advice.
